KARACHI: A fire has broken out in two factories in New Karachi, damaging structure and destroying stock of the factories.

A Fire Brigade official told APP, fire fighters with the help of 10 fire-tenders and three browsers are trying to put out the blaze, which erupted at a chemical factory in Sector 6-B of New Karachi late on Saturday, and spread to another adjacent factory.

The official said the fire at one of the factories has been controlled. The fire fighters were busy in extinguishing the fire at the other factory till filing of this report.

There are no reports of any casualties. The cause of the fire is not known so far.
