KARACHI, May 4: Aqeel Khan, the undisputed tennis ace of the country, is among other notable players who will feature in the Super Series open ranking tennis championship which begins at the Karachi Club on Saturday.

The event carries a total prize money of Rs75,000. The men’s singles winner gets Rs17,000 while the ladies singles champion receives Rs5,000.

Qualifying rounds will be played only for the men’s singles and top four will join the main round.

Saturday’s fixtures: Men’s singles qualifying rounds 9am; under-13, under-11, under-9 at 11 am; ladies singles 3pm.—Sports Correspondent
