He should not be so arrogant since his performance was far lower than expected. Plus what he did is against our beloved Prophet’s guidelines. Trampling of kid's foot did not warrant ASSAULT on a fan. The clipping shows how brutal Shahid Afridi's behaviour was. The poor fan has already apologized on national TV. Unfortunately it reminds me of the recent slapping incident by Ms. Waheeda Shah of PPP. Shahid Afridi should be charged with assault and face prosecution since his untamed boom boom was witnessed on national tv and there are uncountable witnesses of the sad incident.

Mr Afridi why you didn't lose your temper againts indian when they are making you a child in the match . We lost twice to india because of you . Loosing temper against poor is very easy for people like you but not against those who deserve .

i don't blame him, what he did was human. i would've done the same if someone pushed my child to the ground. however in a situation like this when you're filmed by dozen cameras and surrounded by a mass of media people recording and writing about your every move, a guy like our boom boom afridi should've watched out because the eye of the camera is one for all and doesnt always discriminate between a rightful anger or an outrage.

The player of the match award in the final match to Afridi was a sheer act of favouritism by the award jury members. Look at the bowling and batting figures of Shakib vs Afridi. Afrid scored 32 Runs and took one wicket and Shakib scored 68 Runs and took two wickets including one caught and bowled. Shakib rightly deserved the player of the (final) match as much as he deserved and received the player of the series award. Compare also the cool temperament of Shakib as against this hot temper dude. Wait for some time and he will yet again display his hot temperament on or off the field as he likes to be in the news all the time ir-respective of positive or negative image of himself.

i think this incident took place due to lack of security by the government because we all know that when we win or loose the tournament so crowd automatically gather comes in airport and police not to tackle easily of fans. Err....it might have been an idea for the Afridi family to keep the 3 years old child at home: is this the first time Pak team has arrived back in Pakistan with similar chaos? Is this not the sort of reception the cricket team always gets at Karachi or Lahore airports? What chance did she have waiting for her famous/ infamous daddy, holding a single rose and waiting for a quiet hug ? Is it rocket science to figure out that she might just get her tiny toes trampled on in the usual melee that follows such arrivals? Is this not the reason that in the video you see not one person who is elderly, a female or a child? They all knew better! Can you chew on that instead Khan Jee? About ten years ago, I had to stop my angry friend from taking a swing at Afridi in Glasgow when we went to say hello to him while he was on the sidelines of a match between Pakistan and Scotland. That day too he turned abusive. Maybe I should have let my friend have his say that day - both of them might have turned out different!
