KHAIRPUR: One killed in tribal clash

KHAIRPUR, Dec 4: A man, Illahi Bux Jamali, was killed in an armed clash between the Jamali and Jalalani tribes in the Korkey Hajani village, Thari Mirwah Taluka, late Tuesday night.

The Jamali tribesman was seriously injured in the clash and taken to the Khairpur Civil Hospital where he breathed his last.

The Thari Mirwah police registered a case against eight tribesmen.

DEMO HELD: Employees of the Union Council Sehtarja held a demonstration for the third consecutive day against the non-payment of their salaries for the last three months on Wednesday.
