Most of the domes were temples or stupas, Muslim invaders demolished and constructed Mosques, this is Truth. Invaders are worshiped as heros in pakistan ! strange !

it would have been much better if this would have preserved as such as a heritage site
any way there is hardly any jain remain in PAKISTAN.

The idea of a Pakistan as portrait in the world press of a nation in turmoil could be shown in a different light here.Unfortunately it does not work here.Only rarely Dawn gives us insights of the real Pakistan.The one we want to know and relate with.

Pakistanis need to revisit their history . The plunder that the muslim invaders did and converted beautiful temples and stupas into mosques and madarassas symbolizes the ethos of the land . I am not sure whether they should be proud of their history.I have rarely seen majority Islam coexisisting peacefully with other minority religions and unfortunately Pakistan which started as a progressive Islamic state has become an increasingly intloerant state.

That is a tragedy. When differences arise a lot suffers. There are perhaps no Jains in Pakistan there not many in India itself, however the art and stone work is a cultural heritage of the land and its people. This should be preserved and possibily restored for people to enjoy it in the future.
