PESHAWAR, Nov 28: The activists of different political parties and student organisations held separate protest demonstrations here on Monday against the killing of Pakistani troops by Nato forces in Mohmand Agency and asked the government to sever diplomatic ties with the USA.

She termed it against the sovereignty and integrity of the country. “We do not need such diplomatic ties with US if our forces are targeted for no fault of their,” she said.

The MPA said that security forces and government should take strong notice of the attack and retaliate so that Nato forces would not repeat it in future. She added that supplies to Nato forces in Afghanistan should be cut off on permanently basis as the weapons supplied through their land were being used against them.

Mr Chamkani demanded of the government to move a proper resolution against Nato and Isaf in the UN. He said that it was an issue of sovereignty and integrity of the country that needed to be taken very seriously.

The Islami Jamiat Tulba, Mohmand Students Organisation, Muslim Students Federation and Insaf Students Federation also took out processions against the attack.

The processions were led by Abdul Shakoor, Malik Munsif Khalil, Shahsawar Mohmand and Meena Khan.
