THIS refers to the syllabus of Islamiat in schools. Books on Islamiat up to matriculation do not have any chapter regarding the peaceful nature of Islam.
I feel the Islamiat syllabus must be revised and topics like importance of peace in Islam and how terrorists exploit Islam should be included. These aspects should be at secondary and intermediate levels. Logical reasons should be given as this will help us eradicate extremism.
