Three-day book fair begins at Expo Centre Karachi

KARACHI: The Karachi International Book and EdTech Fair (KIBTF) 2026 began at the Expo Centre on Friday.

The opening day witnessed an overwhelming response, transforming the venue into a vibrant hub of academic excellence and technological advancement.

More than 75 national and international organisations are showcasing their innovative services and educational solutions.

Organised in collaboration with M-Tech Systems, Urdu Academy Sindh and Orbit Advertising, the three-day event brings together the worlds of traditional literature and modern technology under one roof.

A major highlight of the fair is ‘Robothon 3.0,’ where a large number of students enthusiastically participated in robotics competitions on the very first day, showcasing creativity and technical skills.

The inaugural day also featured a series of insightful sessions led by renowned educational experts, policymakers and authors. These discussions covered a wide range of topics, including Artificial Intelligence and the future of education, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) in learning, the Single National Curriculum, education journalism, history, emerging technologies and teacher training workshops.

The fair aims to inspire students, educators and families by promoting a culture of learning, innovation, and collaboration, making it a landmark event in Pakistan’s educational landscape.
