Mahmood IV grab lead

KARACHI, Oct 23: Two rounds completed in Dr Iliyas Masters Swiss Bridge Tournament Tuesday at Aslam Bridge in which Mahmood 1V is leading with two straight wins against Jamal 21-9 and Alpha 21-9. Besides the regular pair of Mahmood Naqvi - Iqbal Hyder, Shaoib Khan and Mazhar are playing for the team. Mehmood are leading with 44 V.P.

Raees with the inclusion of Saleem Ahmed, has now become a potential team for the top honours. Raees is pairing with Saleem.

They won first match against TTIQ 21-9 and a close match from Puri 16-14. Raees have earned 38 V.P. in two matches. Puris have scored 37 V.P.

They first defeated PSO convincingly 23-07 in their first match. Nasim Arzoo, Qamar Puri, Shahab Saeed and Asghar Abbas are playing for Puris.

Four Bidders was the other team which maintained winning sequence. Playing a winning draw against Striker sharing 30 V.P. equally, Four Bidders registered clear victory against Friends 20-10. Chaudhry Sharif, A.K. Bhurgari, Mushahid Siddiqui, Afzal Shaikh and Syed Ameer Hasan are contesting from Four Bidders, they have 35 V.P. to their tally.
