LAHORE, May 6: A man allegedly killed his wife over a domestic issue in Shalimar here on Friday.

Reports said Muhammad Arif, a resident of Farooq Park, attacked his wife Rukhsana Bibi, a mother of four, with a hard object and killed her on the spot.

Quoting neighbours, the police said Arif, a drug addict, would often scuffle with his wife over petty issues.

The police shifted the body to the morgue for an autopsy and registered a case against the absconding accused.

STABBED TO DEATH: A 25-year-old youth was allegedly stabbed to death by two motorcyclists in Kahna on Friday.

Quoting witnesses, the police said the motorcyclists attacked Shahbaz Masih of Sharif Park with a dagger, killing him on the spot.

The family told police that the deceased had no enmity.

The body of the youth was shifted to hospital for an autopsy.

The police have registered a case against the accused on the complaint of deceased’s father Waris Masih.

CRUSHED TO DEATH: A 12-year-old boy was crushed to death by a car in the Hanjarwal area here on Friday.

According to details,  Imran Akhtar of Thokar Niaz Beg was crossing the Multan Road when the incident happened. The car driver fled the scene.

The police handed over the body to the family without an autopsy.
