LAHORE: National Football Coach, Akhtar Mohiuddin will take over as  head coach of PMC Athletico football club on Sunday.

The decision to appoint Mohiuddin as head coach was taken in a special meeting of the PMC club held under the chairmanship of its president, Saif-ur-Rehman Bhatti on Saturday.

Various issues relating to improving the performance of the club were discussed to make the National Challenge Cup Football Tournament successful.

The tournament will be held from April 14 to 27, under the auspices of the PMC club in Faisalabad. The PMC club has been taking part in the National Football League since 2006.

Mohiuddin has previously served as coach, for the Pakistan football team on many occasions.
