QUETTA, Feb 15: Police foiled an attempt to attack a procession of Eid Miladun Nabi and arrested two men here on Tuesday.

A large quantity of explosives was seized.

Crime branch police DIG Mohammad Naeem Kakar said at a press conference that the men told investigators that they were planning to carry out an attack on the procession in Quetta.

Acting on a tip-off police raided a house in the outskirts of Quetta, recovered 754kg of explosives and wires to be used in an explosion and arrested the two men.
