PESHAWAR, Jan 28: The performance of Bacha Khan Trust was reviewed on Friday at the annual meeting of its board of trustees.

Presiding over the meeting, chairman of the trust and ANP president Asfandyar Wali Khan said that the trust would materialise non-violence philosophy of Bacha Khan. He expressed satisfaction over performance of the trust.

Mr Khan said that research and educational activities under the trust were aimed at reproducing history, culture and customs of Pakhtuns in documentary form. He said that the trust was also making efforts to create awareness of Bacha Khan's thoughts and philosophy among the new generation.

“The main aim of Bacha Khan was education of his people and he struggled hard for this objective,” Mr Khan said.

The meeting also reviewed the trust's annual accounts, research and educational activities and future plans.
