Bahawalpur triumph

BAHAWALPUR, Oct 10 Bahawalpur beat Karachi by 70 runs in the All-Pakistan NBP Twenty20 Blind cricket tournament at the Dring Stadium on here.

Batting first, Bahawalpur scored 247-5 with Waqas making 104 while Zafar made 34.

Karachi, in reply, were restricted to 177-8 with 89 runs coming from the bat of Murad Hussain.

Lahore, meanwhile, defeated Faisalabad by 10 wickets, and in the third match, Peshawar scored a 25-run win over Islamabad

In Sunday's last fixture, Azad Kashmir overwhelmed Okara by 96 runs.— Correspondent
