MARDAN: Walk marks literacy day

MARDAN, Sept 8: The National Commission on Human Development organized a walk to create awareness among the public on the eve of the World Literacy Day here on Sunday.

Students from public and private schools participated in the walk, which was led by District Nazim, Haji Raza Khan.

He said modern education and technology were essential for the rapid economic development. He said efforts were being made to increase enrolment in the district’s primary schools.
