SIALKOT, Feb 9: Unknown thieves took away leather and cloths worth Rs3.2 million from the factory of Muhammad Akram on Nasir Road here late on Tuesday night.

Police have registered a case with no arrest or recovery so far in this regard.

Meanwhile, bandits looted cash, ornaments, electronic items and other valuables worth hundreds of thousands of rupees in several strikes in Sialkot district during the last 24 hours.

Thieves made away with a tractor of farmer Ghulam Mustafa from his outhouse in Kakey village, Chak-Sambrial. Begowal police have registered a case.

Thieves took away the motorcycle of Aquib Tahir from outside the office of Sialkot District Police Officer. Police are investigating.

Burglars took away surgical instruments worth thousands of rupees from the factory of Mukhtar Ahmad in Mustafa Town, Hajipura.

Eight armed robbers looted cash, ornaments, electronics items and mobile phones worth hundreds of thousands of rupees from dozens of villagers and passersby at a picket on Jhandu-Daska-Bambanwala Road in Daska tehsil.

On main Pasrur-Sialkot Road near Budhiyan-Dera Mehaban village, two armed motorcyclists snatched Rs3,550 in cash from the Daska SDO telephone exchange. Police have registered separate cases with no arrest or recovery.
