NAWABSHAH, Nov 13: A man was killed and 11 others injured when a bus collided with another bus on the National Highway on Saturday.

The Mansehra-bound bus (JA-8524) collided with the bus (JB-1095) coming from the opposite direction near the Daulatpur bypass.

Bus driver Jehangir Pathan, a resident of Mansehra, died on the spot.

The injured were identified as Asif Khan, Irfan, Sajid, Riaz Gujjar, Naseer, Abdul Sattar, Siraj, Usman, Mansoor Alam and Ishtiaq Ahmed.

The condition of three passengers is said to be critical.

The Daulatpur police impounded the buses.

INSANTATION: The taluka municipal administration has failed to improve sanitary condition on the eve of Eidul Fatr.

There are heaps of garbage in almost all areas of the city including the Mohni Bazar, Kutchehry road, Gharibabad, Manuabad, Essarpur, Mehran colony, Bhangwar colony, Taj colony, Mariam road, Hussain road, Qazi Ahmed Moore and Riazat market.

Dirty gutter water is standing on different roads and people are facing hardships in moving and shopping.

The traffic system was also badly affected in the main areas.
