KARACHI, April 25: Six vessels carrying containers, logs and steel coils are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where four ships, PONL Buenos Aries, Bunga Terasek, to unload and load containers, Dina Queen and Eny to unload and load general cargo were berthed.

Only one container vessel, PONL Buneous Aries, departed on Monday, while Mercs Sajinda, Bunga Terasek, Arkaan, and Rising One are due to sail out on Tuesday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was modest where a total tonnage of 44,398 tons comprising 5,605 tons of export cargo including 4,145 tons of rice and 38,793 tons of export cargo was handled.

The following ships are due on Tuesday: APL Pusan, Sinar Bontang, Oranje, and Orient Prosperity to unload and load containers, Sports Queen to offload steel coils, and Ju Bao Men to offload 3,000 logs.
