NAWABSHAH: 11 teachers suspended

NAWABSHAH, Feb 2: The assistant district education officer of Sakrand here on Wednesday suspended 11 primary school teachers for negligence in duties.

Those suspended are Abdul Majeed, Mohammad Dawood, Shah Nawaz, Atta Mohammad, Ghulam Nabi, Amanullah, Abdul Aziz, Mohammad Yousuf, Mohammad Zakir, Mashooq Ali and Mohammad Nawaz of the Government Primary School, Sahib Khan Jamali. Residents of the Sahib Khan Jamali village demanded posting of efficient and able teachers in the school.

OIL PRICES: Different political, social welfare and trade organizations of the district on Wednesday criticized the rise in the price of petrol.

Sindh Citizens' Action Committee general-secretary and Pakistan Muslim League leader Rao Fahim Kalanori demanded that the government should review the decision. Mr Kalanori warned that protests would be held in the province if the decision was not reviewed.
