SHEIKHUPURA, Dec 13: The police have failed to find any clue to the son of Sadiq Malik, a Muridke correspondent of an English daily, who had disappeared from his office on Nov 2.

Talking to newsmen here, Mr Malik said that his son Majeed Sadiq was working in Askari Leasing Auto Finance Company, Gujrat. He said that his son had gone to his office in Gujrat, but never returned.

He feared that the office management had abducted his son to conceal its embezzlement. He alleged that the Gujrat police had done nothing to recover his son despite knowing all facts.

The journalist alleged that the leasing company had implicated his son in a fabricated fraud case just to harass the family. He demanded of the governor, the chief minister, the IGP and the Gujrat DPO to recover his son immediately. He also called for an impartial inquiry into the allegations levelled on his son by the Askari Leasing Auto Finance Company.
