KARACHI, May 24: Over 100 handicapped children had fun for over three hours at an entertainment programme at a fast-food restaurant at Sindhi Muslim Housing Society on Monday. The function was organized by noted artist Jimmy Engineer.

A magician kept the youngsters spell-bound for a couple of hours. The children from the Ida Rieu School and College for the Deaf and Blind, Darul Sukoon, Darul Khushnood, Asra Special School, Hope and Faith, Agosh, and Bait-ul-Shafqat participated in the function.

Jimmy Engineer urged the parents of the special children not to hide them but to take them out so that they get an opportunity to mingle with normal children.

He urged the philanthropists to come forward and assist in whatever way they can to the organizations that were serving the handicapped people. He said they can be a part in improving the lives of these children by providing different facilities or any other materialistic help which could bring smile on the faces of these children.
