The additional director will have the assistance of deputy director (investigation) Zahid Jilani, three assistant directors (complaints, technical and legal fields) in addition to seven inspectors and four anti-corruption circle officers.

Dr Mansoor Bajwa told Dawn that the government had transferred the investigation of 433 corruption cases related to the four districts - Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Rahimyar Khan and Lodhran - to Bahawalpur region. Earlier, these districts were included in the Multan region.
