MIANWALI, March 17: The Sargodha Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education chairman, Prof Muhammad Afzal Rabbani, has denied that English Paper A & B for Class 10 (evening session) was sent out of the examination centre. However, he claimed the paper was cancelled as a preventive measure at all the four districts. Now the examination will be held on March 19 (Friday) at 2:30pm.

He said the superintendent, who had committed the blunder, had been disqualified from conducting any of the BISE duties. An inquiry had been ordered against him.

Spelling out the details, Prof Rabbani said centre superintendent Syed Sajjad Husain Bokhair, an SST (grade-17), had erroneously distributed the English objective paper of evening session to the students of the morning session at Centre No 142 at the Government High School, Chak 99, Shomali (Sargodha).

After 10 to 15 minutes, the superintendent took the paper back and distributed the right one and later informed to the BISE control room about the happening. The chairman said the board had packed the morning and evening sessions' papers in two different colours. He said the superintendents were always briefed on the whole process before the start of the examination.
