KASUR, Feb 12: Three people were killed while 10, including three women, injured in a collision between a wagon and a tractor trolley in Puchokey, Raiwind Saddar, on Thursday.

Police said the wagon was going to Kot Radha Kishan from Lahore. It collided head-on with a tractor trolley loaded with fodder near Puchokey as a result of which wagon passengers Umar Hayat, Allah Ditta and Ghulam Mohyuddin were killed while 10 others, including Fazal Husain, Asghar Ali, Sardar, Rashid Abbas, Pervez Ahmad, Sharif, Liaquat Ali, Anwar Begum, Khurshid Bibi and Robina Bibi sustained injuries. They were admitted to the Kot Radha Kishan rural health centre.

Raiwind Saddar police have registered a case against both the absconding drivers.

MURDER: A man allegedly murdered his wife over a domestic dispute in Kot Bismillah, Kanganpur.

Police said Tufail and Zubaida were not enjoying good relations. On Thursday, Tufail demanded some money from his wife who refused to do so. On it, Tufail strangled Zubaida killing him on the spot. Kanganpur police have registered a case on the report of Habib Ahmad, the father of the dead woman.

SHOT DEAD: Unidentified gunmen shot dead one Altaf Husain while he was sitting in his shop in Liaquat Town, Phoolnagar. Phoolnagar police have registered a case on the report of Altaf's brother Fida.
