PPP-SB leader shot dead

KARACHI, Jan 11: A leader of the Pakistan People's Party (Shaheed Bhutto group), Ali Mohammad Sonara, and one of his associate were shot dead on Sunday by unknown gunmen here in Kharadar, police said.

They said that two others were injured in the incident. Police said unidentified motorcyclists opened fire, critically injuring Ali Sonara, who was accompanied by Abdul Samad, Mohammad Aslam and Mohammad Younis in Amil Gali near the Kakri Ground.

The injured were rushed to the Civil Hospital where Sonara and Samad were pronounced dead.
