LAHORE, Dec 30: The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has invited Malaysia for a three-match series proposed for next month. PHF secretary Asif Bajwa said on Tuesday that he had given the invitation to Malaysia during the Asia Hockey Federation meeting held earlier this month and is now awaiting a reply from them.

Asif said his Malaysian counterpart was busy in consulting their coaches for the said tour and hopefully a final decision would be received in the next couple of days.

He said the national junior team could also be included in the series to make it a three-team event.

The PHF, he said, had also decided to start the national championship from Jan 20.
