SUKKUR, Aug 17: A man was killed and two others were injured in a road accident on the National Highway, near Daharki, on Saturday night.

Riaz Ahmed Jhedo, Mohammad Ali and Taj Mohammad Jhedo were going on a motorcycle from Kotlo Munshi village to Ubauro when they were hit by a truck near Daharki.

Riaz died on the spot while Mohammad Ali and Taj were injured in the incident. The truck driver fled.

SUICIDE: A 40-year-old man, father of 12 children, committed suicide in Aqil Leghari village in the Dad Leghari police station area on Saturday, apparently out of despondency. Shahmir Leghari, brother of the deceased, said that his brother was a peasant and he was finding in difficult to take care of his family.
