HYDERABAD, Aug 12: The DCO of Hyderabad Ali Ahmed Loond has directed the health management of the district government to ensure that no one should refuse vaccination during the 3-day anti-polio campaign launching from August 19.

He said this while presiding over a meeting held at Shahbaz Building Hyderabad on Tuesday regarding the implementation of three-day anti-polio drive.

The DCO said the refusal cases and people in transit were the cause that could foil the laborious campaigns by the management.

He directed officials to get help from public representatives, opinion leaders of society to convince parents who were refusing administering polio drops to their children.

He directed that all transit points must be plugged by anti-polio teams and the number of female anti-polio workers be increased. He said cold storages of vaccines should be maintained properly.
