FAISALABAD, Aug 6: Four convicts in two murder cases were executed at the district jail here on Wednesday.

Mohammad Afzal, Anwarul Haq and Mohammad

Boota of Chak 202-RB,

Gatti, had gunned down

Niaz Bibi and Munir Ahmad over a children quarrel in

1999. Both sides were relatives and all efforts for reconciliation fell flat.

In the second case, Iftikhar alias Babar who had been booked by the Batala Colony police station for murdering Hanifan Bibi some 10 years ago was executed in the district jail.

Bodies were handed over to the families.
