NAWABSHAH, Aug 5: A 30-feet wide breach developed in Jam Leghari minor of Nusrat Irrigation Division near Nawabshah, on Tuesday.

The breach occurred near Niaz Hussain village inundating houses of Illahi Bux, Lal Bux, Moula Bux, Dhani Bux, Hussain Bux and Ghulam Qadir.

The nearby villagers and growers informed the Irrigation Department about the breach after which Gajrah Wah was closed.

Executive Engineer Nusrat Irrigation Division, Haji Khan Jamali refuted reports of breach in Jam Leghari minor. He said there were only three watercourses at Jam Leghari, while desilting had also been done a couple of days back.
