THATTA, June 30: An engineer of a mobile phone company was kidnapped from near Daro town on Monday.
Nasir Mehmood with his friend, Jameel Ahmed and driver Nawaz Ali, was on his way to install a tower in Daro.
At least eight armed men intercepted them on Bathoro road and kidnapped them with their vehicle. Later, they released Jameel Ahmed and driver Nawaz and took away engineer Nisar Mehmood to the kutcha area.
Meanwhile, people caught a robber and handed him over to police in Thatta on Monday.—Correspondent
