SAHIWAL, June 14: The DPO suspended an ASI from service on charges of misconduct and misuse of powers.

Anwar had alleged in his complaint that ASI Muhammad Sarwer threatened him with dire consequences if he continued demanding the money given to him (ASI) in bribe. The DPO ordered an inquiry which found the ASI guilty of charges.
