KOHAT, June 1: Ustarzai union council nazim and brother of MPA Syed Qalb-i-Hassan, escaped on Sunday an attempt on his life when the vehicle they were travelling in came under attack near Kaghazai Square on Parachinar road, police said.
Mahtab-ul-Hassan, along with his two friends and a bodyguard, was going home from his office in the afternoon on Sunday when unidentified attackers came out of the bushes and started indiscriminate firing at the vehicle injuring one of the friends of the nazim.
