QUETTA, May 19: Five people, a woman and a child among them, were killed and three others injured in incidents of firing in the Majak area of Qila Abdullah and Sibi on Monday.

Police sources said a man identified as Saleh Mohammad entered a house and opened fire, killing three people.

The accused had been arrested.

In the other incident, two tribesmen were killed and two others seriously injured in a clash between two groups of Kakar tribe in Majak. According to local people, rockets and other heavy weapons were used by both sides and the clash continued till late night.
