HYDERABAD, March 20: The maternal aunt of a bridegroom was killed and her son was injured in a marriage party by a stray bullet in Islamabad Mohalla here on Wednesday night.
Shahnaz had arrived with her husband Saeed to participate in the marriage ceremony of Asif. The wedding procession was ready to leave for marriage hall when overjoyed guests resorted to heavy aerial firing.
During the firing, Shahnaz and her 12-year-old son Shoaib were hit by the bullet.
She died in a hospital while the boy was under treatment. The incident took place in the jurisdiction of Phulelli police station.
