HYDERABAD: Teacher beaten up

HYDERABAD, Feb 15: Some unidentified men injured Sindh University teacher Muzaffar alias Imran Ujjan in Government Boys Degree College Thatta on Friday as he was performing his duty as head-invigilator during examinations. A spokesman of Sindh University said that professor Ujjan stopped some people who were helping students in cheating from the outside of the examination centre.

On his resistance, they injured him by hitting him with stones on head due to which he fell unconscious and was rushed to hospital where after an emergency medical treatment his condition was said to be stable.—Bureau
