NAWABSHAH, Feb 5: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement activists took out an election procession here on Tuesday.

The rally started from the Abdul Qadir park and after passing thorough main streets of the city ended at the park road.

Speaking on the occasion, party leader Abdul Rasheed Arain and joint zonal Incharge Shiraz Masood said that the MQM had stood for the rights of people.

They said that the Muttahida Qaumi Movement carried out development works on large scale as well as raised public issues on the assembly floor.

Meanwhile, elections of the Nawabshah chapter of the Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz were held here on Monday.

Suhail Samoon was elected as president, Usman Bambh as vice-president, Ghulam Ali Keerio secretary, Hussain Sindh treasurer and Zahid Mirani as press secretary.
