CHARSADDA, Jan 25: A man was killed when workers of Awami National Party and Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-F clashed over a dispute on wall-chalking in the Muslimabad locality here on Thursday evening.

Eyewitnesses said that some supporters of JUI-F candidate for PF-17, Arshad Khan, wiped out the wall-chalking of ANP candidate Fazal Shakoor and wrote their party slogans, which triggered the clash.

As a result, ANP worker Fazl Amin, son of Umar Gul, resident of Muslimabad, was killed. The body was taken to the district headquarters hospital for autopsy.

After the incident, ANP workers came out on roads, blocking it for traffic, and set fire to old tires to protest against the killing of Fazal Amin.
