DADU, April 2: A delegation of the Asian Development Bank led by Karina Oswald, consultant poverty reduction, Ghulam Mustafa Abro, director general planning and development and Zuhra Shah arrived Dadu on Tuesday.

They held a meeting with the officials of the district administration.

Speaking at the meeting Karina Oswald said that non-availability of the basic facilities in the remote areas of the district had adversely affected the poor people.

The meeting was informed that the Asian Development Bank would provide a loan of Rs50 million to Thatta, Tharparkar, Jacobabad, Sanghar and Dadu for the improvement of agriculture sector, rural infrastructure and community development.

Dadu DCO Mohammad Qasim Lashari, EDO revenue Suhail Ahmed Rajput, EDO finance Ahmed Bux Khokhar and EDO community development Rais Ahmed Paracha attended the meeting.
