LARKANA, Dec 19: Former opposition leader in Sindh Assembly Nisar Amed Khuhro on Wednesday accused Pakistan Muslim League of making en mass retrenchments and imposing ban on recruitment during its tenure.

He said at a corner meeting held for mobilising support for party candidate Shahid Bhutto who was contesting for NA-204 (Larkana-I), that the rulers clandestinely dished out Sindh’s islands to outsiders at a throwaway price and hatched conspiracies to privatise large public enterprises to their favourites.

Shahid Bhutto said that he was contesting for NA-204 and he had been previously asked to stand for NA-207 for which Ms Benazir Bhutto herself was now running.

On this occasion, Mashooque Jatoi, president of the Sindh chapter of All-Pakistan Organisation of Small Traders and Cottage Industry announced supporting PPP candidates in Sindh.
