SWABI, Nov 28: The district nazim on Wednesday ordered the demarcation of a government college’s boundary in Swabi, an issue which remained unresolved for the past 14 years.

Speaking at the oath-taking ceremony of board members of the Government College of Commerce and Management Sciences, Nazim Shahram Khan said that no one would be allowed to grab the college’s property and asked the occupiers to vacate it voluntarily.

He noted that the college staff and students were facing problems due to a dilapidated road.

“The district government would provide funds for white wash of the college,” he announced. The nazim visited college labs and said that latest computers would be provided to the institution. “We need education, especially technical education, which would enable the students to earn their livelihood with dignity and honour,” he said.

He asked students to play their role in the coming elections on Jan 8 and elect people who would serve them well.

District naib nazim Mohammad Salim administered the oath to the board members.
