HYDERABAD, Nov 23: Maria Toor and Saima Shaukat of Wapda, Habiba Khan of Sindh and Zoya Khalid of Army have reached the semi-finals of the 2nd Hyderabad National Women’s Open Squash 2007 championship being held at the Hyderabad Gymkhana squash complex on Friday.

Results:

First seed Maria Toor beat Maliha Shahid of Punjab 9-1, 9-1 and 9-1

Second seed Saima Shaukat beat Rooshana Mehboob of Punjab 5-9, 9-1, 9-2, 7-9 and 10-9.

Third seed Zoya Khalid beat Bushra Khalid of Punjab 9-5, 9-1 and 9-1 Fourth seed Habiba Khan defeated Gul Zaman of Wapda 9-2, 4-9, 9-7, 7-9 and 9-5.

Saturday’s fixtures:

Semi-final between Maria Toor (Wapda) and Habiba Khan (Sindh) at 4:00pm followed by Saima Shaukat (Wapda) Vs Zoya Khalid (Army) at 4:30 pm.—APP
