Governor on hunting trip

NAWABSHAH, Nov 10: NWFP Governor Ali Mohammed Jan Aurakzai found the time for a hunting trip on Saturday and flew to Nawabshah especially for the purpose.

Wapda chairman Shakeel Ahmed Durrani accompanied the governor on the trip at the Pai Forest and Game Sanctuary near Sakrand.

Sources told Dawn that the two hunted around 59 partridges.

Forest and Wildlife Department, Sindh, secretary Mehboob Alam Ansari said that prior permission for hunting was issued through a notification and Rs6,000 was deposited in the wildlife department office in Hyderabad.

Sources said that the governor would make an overnight stay in Nawabshah and leave for Peshawar on Sunday morning.
