AKU basketball semis today

Karachi, Nov 7: The City School (PAF Chapter) will take on Habib Boys School while the CAS School will play against City School (Gulshan Campus) in the semi-finals of the 4th AKU Sports Centre All Karachi Inter-School Basketball Tournament.

The semi-final will be played on Thursday, at 4:00 and 5:00pm respectively at the AKU Sports Centre Gymnasium.

The quarter-finals were played on Tuesday at the Sports Centre Gymnasium.

The results are as follows:

The City School (PAF Chapter) beat American School 61-26 Pts with Maaz Sultan (28 pts) and Raja Jahanzeb (15 Pts) scoring well for the winners. For the losing side Omair Pasha (12 pts) and Kyung Soo Park (8 pts) played well.

In the other quarter-final, the CAS School beat KN Academy 24-11 with Kamil Badar scoring 15 points for the winners

The City School (Gulshan Campus) beat Shahwilayat Public School 44-30 in the third quarter-final. Bilal Khan (22 pts) scored well for the winners while Abbas Saleem (12 pts) was the main scorer for the losing side.

In the last quarter-final, Habib School beat Arts & Science Academy 26-16 with Faisal Farooq (7pts) and Affan Arif (7 pts) excelling for winners on court. For the losing side, Danial Hassan (12 pts) was the main scorer.—Agencies
