LAHORE, Oct 13: The revival of the Pakistani cinema with Indian flick Awarapan is likely to continue with more films having cast from across the border. On this Eid, 12 movies will be released in cinemas.

The two main films for Eid are: God Father and Mohabtan Sachian. God Father has a cast from Bollywood and Lollywood, mainly featuring Vinod Khana and Arbaz Khan from Bollywood and Meera and Ajab Gul from Lollywood.

There are a number of flicks awaiting their launch. Among them is co-production Kaafila, which has yet to be passed by the censor board.

Javed Raza’s Kabhi Pyar Na Karna, which has an item number by Neha Dhupia besides Lollywood cast, is also expected to be released soon.

Among other films which will be released on Eid, the industry attaches hope with Punjabi film Mohabtan Sachian, directed by Shehzad Rafique. Jhoomer by Syed Noor will also be released on Eid. Ghundi Run, Bala Badmash and Ishtehari Rajput are among other Punjabi films to be released on Eid.

Four Pushto films will also be released on the occasion. Two English films — Harry Potter and The Strange Love — are likely to attract English movie buffs.
