HYDERABAD, Oct 4: District Nazim Kanwar Naveed Jamil has called upon the multinational gas and oil companies to extend financial assistance to the district government for repair and construction of roads.

Pointing out the roads which needed repair, he said that the district government found it difficult to get the roads frequently repaired as it had limited resources. The nazim also called upon the officials of the OGDC and the JJVL to ask their drivers to avoid using roads on which heavy traffic was prohibited.

He lauded the oil and gas companies for contributing to boosting up the economy of the country and providing employment to local youth.
