HYDERABAD, Sept 12: Sindh Taraqi Pasand Party Chairman Dr Qadir Magsi condemned the deportation of PML-N chief Mian Nawaz Sharif for the second time and ban on the entry of PTI chief Imran Khan into Karachi and appealed to the Supreme Court to take suo motu notice of the illegal actions of the government.

He said that the rulers should be prosecuted for violating the clear order of the Supreme Court.

He was speaking at a news conference at the Taraqi Pasand House here on Wednesday evening.

He said, All Parties Democratic Movement (APDM) had not come into existence at the behest of agencies or foreign masters but it was an alliance founded for the restoration of democracy in the country and to get rid of the dictators and eliminate their role from politics forever.

He said if the PPP were to become a part of democratic struggle and gave up talks with the generals, it would be fully supported.

Dr Magsi said, the deportation of Mian Nawaz Sharif was in fact a kidnapping and added that he was grateful to the people of Sindh for observing protest day throughout the province on the call of the APDM.

He said a propaganda campaign has been started against the APDM. He said, the APDM was an alliance of the people and its main objective was to get rid of the establishment and the generals.

He said, had Nawaz Sharif arrived Pakistan after a deal with the rulers, the government functionaries would have lifted him on their shoulders. However, since he had refused to talk to the government, he was deported for the second time, Magsi said.

He said that the deportation of Nawaz Sharif was a flagrant violation of the decision of the Supreme Court therefore, all the people involved in the crime should be arrested and tried.

He said, it was a unanimous demand of the APDM that General Pervez Musharraf was not acceptable either in uniform or in Sherwani and it would be proper for him to hold fair and transparent elections and handover power to the elected representatives.
