SARGODHA, Sept 11: Three men molested a 45-year-old woman on suspicions that her son had an affair with a girl of their family in Sahiwal tehsil, some 35km away from here, on Tuesday.

Akbar, Faraz and Umer Hayat allegedly stripped Fateh Bibi and paraded her naked in Pindiwal village.

The police initially avoided registration of a case and persuaded the woman to compromise with the accused men. Later, on the intervention of a large number of people, police registered a case of outraging the woman’s modesty. However, no arrest has been made so far.

Fateh Bibi accused police of helping her assailants in fleeing, who were now forcing her to stop pursuing the case.

She appealed to the chief justice of Pakistan to provide her justice.
