KOHAT: Bid to smuggle hashish foiled

KOHAT, Sept 1: The Anti-Narcotics Force has foiled an attempt to smuggle a huge quantity of hashish from the tribal areas and arrested a suspect on the Indus Highway bypass here.

According to a press release issued on Saturday, ANF personnel seized 30kg of fine quality hashish from a passenger while checking a pickup near the Gulshanabad Square on Friday evening.

The passenger was arrested and a case was registered against him.

The price of the seized hashish is estimated to be Rs1 million.
