MITHI, July 21: Residents of Posarko village, Mithi taluka, have urged the Hesco authorities for early completion of electrification scheme of their village. The village failed to get electricity despite being approved by the government thrice in the recent past.

Talking to this scribe here on Saturday, Yousuf, Ishaque, Leemon, Moula Bux and other residents of the village warned Hesco officials of a protest drive if they failed to complete the remaining work of electrification scheme of their village within the stipulated time.

NADRA: The General Manager of National Database and Registration Authority Sindh, Brigadier Agha Ali Raza Qazilbash, inaugurated the Civil Registration Management System (CRMS) project at the Union Council here on Friday.

Talking to the elected representatives on the occasion, he contended that a new system, in collaboration with Nadra, is being introduced to facilitate entries of birth, nikah, death and divorce certificates to the people.

Haji Allah Dino, the Taluka Nazim of Mithi and Maturam Bhagat, Nazim of the Union Council Mithi, requested the Nadra official to reduce the fee of Rs70 for the issuance of such certificates. The general manager, on this occasion, handed over a computerised birth certificate to a youth.
